The Throne is our turn-key composting toilet complete with the best urine diverter on the market, durable plastic base, ventilation system, and liquid level alarm. This unit includes everything you need for a compost toilet or camp bathroom:

Throne Base

Made of durable LLDPE, the base, lid, and seat are easy to wipe clean. The seat design is based on standard household toilet seat shapes so your rear end will feel right at home. The lid makes this toilet splash-proof so it can be incorporated into a variety of small bathroom designs. We also built in a back up to contain overflow spills inside the toilet in the event of a level alarm failure. The toilet base will hold 96 fluid ounces before it reaches the level of the raised mounting holes.

Diverter

The Throne diverter was developed based on feedback from over a hundred composting toilet users with years of toilet use, management, and cleaning under their belts. This diverter offers the best performance separating solids and liquids, the simplest cleaning, and the least fuss of any diverter we’ve found. A large solids opening means you don’t have to aim your #2! A deep liquids bowl prevents overflowing during enthusiastic, well-hydrated use. And the clean and simple, seamless design with no moving parts makes keeping your toilet clean and “company ready” quick and easy. Made of the same durable LLDPE as the Throne base.

Liquids Jug

This premium molded jug offers a 3-gallon liquid capacity so you can go longer between emptying than with most standard composting toilet jugs AND a Level Alarm to avoid accidental overflows. When you have about 3-4 pees of capacity left, a red light comes on and illuminates your diverter. We designed this jug to work well with both our DIY Plans and our Premium Throne. The jug uses translucent plastic so you can see the level from the outside. Features a large 3-gallon capacity, sturdy carry strap and a secure twist cap lid.

Solids Bin

A 6-gallon capacity plastic bucket with sturdy metal handle and included lid lets you go longer between emptying and gives you confidence to carry it out when the time comes.

Vent Fan

Takes the stank straight off the log! The fan can either be direct-wired to a DC electrical system or plugged in to a regular AC outlet with the included adapter. The kit uses a 4” 43 CFM box fan that is vented out a 2.5” diameter line. The small vent louver can be installed through a wall or the floor and includes a fine mesh barrier to keep any bugs out.
