A properly managed composting toilet doesn’t smell. However, smells do occur during use, and if we don’t get everything right with cover material and aim.

The vent removes any unwanted smells just in case and vents them outside your space. This kit includes everything you need to vent your Throne outside a wall or floor.

The fan can either be direct-wired to a DC electrical system or plugged in to a regular AC outlet with the included adapter. The kit uses a 4” 43 CFM box fan that is vented out a 2.75” line. The small vent louver can be installed through a wall or the floor and includes a fine mesh barrier to keep any bugs out.
